You'll focus on international politics; diplomacy; cooperation; war and security; international development; interactions between different societies; and global environmental problems. You'll be able to choose a specialism from politics, history or the environment as one core area of concern to international studies.

Course Details - Modules
This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits.
You’ll begin Stage 1 with a choice of two introductory modules – one with a focus on social sciences or one with a focus on the environment. You’ll follow this with a module that examines the issues that face contemporary society.
Next, in Stage 2, you’ll study a core module in international development followed by a module selected from a range of options.
Finally, in Stage 3, you’ll take a core module in international relations and conclude your degree with further study, either building on topics already encountered or broadening your study into a new area.
