This diploma has two stages, each comprising two modules.
Stage 1 consists of an introductory module in the arts and humanities, before choosing between studying about either culture or revolutions throughout history.
Next, in Stage 2, you’ll study two compulsory Classical studies modules. You’ll deepen your understanding of the literature, history, art and material culture of the classical world, and learn the essentials of Latin. You’ll also develop your skills of writing essays and analysing ancient sources as diverse as poems, inscriptions, graffiti, coins, mosaics and paintings.
