Back of the net! **Campus** Because of our special relationship with Nottingham Trent University (NTU), this course is based at NTUs Clifton Campus Sports Village, sited in a parkland setting just four miles from Nottingham City Centre. There are excellent public transport links with the City Centre and all other parts of Greater Nottingham. **Year 1 modules include** - Coaching Theory and Practice - Strength and Conditioning - Physiology of Sport Performance - Foundations of Sport Psychology - Introduction to Research Skills - Inclusive Sport and Community and Engagement **Year 2 modules include** - Foundations of Sports Biomechanics - Professional Development Placement - Applied Research Project - Applied Skill Learning - Event Management **Assessment** We assess continually throughout the course including through assignments, research projects, reports and practical investigations. Two second-year modules include assessment by examination to help prepare you for further degree-level study. As part of your course, you will also need to complete a programme of work placement which we will help you to secure. **Bursaries** We want our courses to be accessible to students from any background, so we’ve put together a cash support package in the form of non-repayable bursaries to provide financial help where it’s really needed.
