This course is ideal if you are looking for a career at management level, as you'll be able to build on your employability and business skills and have plenty of opportunity to see the principles of business management in practice. This Level 6 programme is awarded by our main university partner, Nottingham Trent University (NTU).** **About the course** This course seeks to develop your existing knowledge, skills and experience and enhance your understanding of the global business environment. It is expected that you will have prior knowledge of a wide range of business topics. You may choose, to some degree, to specialise in an area of personal interest through research and assessments within certain modules. The course is vocational and rooted in an awareness of the practice of business management. This is underpinned by an understanding of the central and contemporary business theories that inform your understanding of the business world and your role in it. The course places a strong emphasis on getting you ready for the workplace and your future career. Skills developed are those which employers tell us they are keen to see in graduates: including presentation skills; report writing; problem-solving and analytical skills. Our graduates have gone on to successful careers in a wide variety of sectors from KPMG to the Aspinal Foundation, and Nottinghamshire Police to Paul Smith. Alternatively, graduates can progress to postgraduate study in a range of subjects.
