**If you're looking for a successful career in business, this course provides the knowledge, understanding and skills required, and is solid preparation for progression onto a top-up degree course. Here at Nottingham College we provide a Level 6 BA (Hons) Business Studies programme, in partnership with Nottingham Trent University (NTU).** **About the course** You will study a common year one and then choose two options in year two. **Year One modules include:** - developing business skills - business law - managing communications - marketing tools - business finance - business placement (normally May to July) **Year Two core modules include:** - human resources management - business decision-making - managing in the digital economy - management and leadership **Year two options (select two)** - project management - marketing campaigns - sales operations - entrepreneurship and enterprise development If you choose to study this programme on a three-year part-time basis, you will study four modules in each year. A final year research project undertaken in the business decision-making module, allows you to combine many of the skills you will have developed to produce finding about a particular area of interest. This will help with your progression should you decide to top up to a full honours degree. **Assessment** Modules are assessed through a variety of individual assignments, group assignments and examinations. **Bursaries** We want our courses to be accessible to students from any background, so we’ve put together a cash support package in the form of non-repayable bursaries to provide financial help where it’s really needed.
