Dynamic, creative and hands-on, this accredited course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to create spaces that are beautiful, functional and sustainable. Explore the design and development of internal environments in relation to their overall architectural composition, considering form, structure and light. On this course you’ll develop your identity as a designer and gain key transferable skills that will prepare you for a graduate career in architectural design, interior decoration and interior design. Based in our Grade II* listed Gothic Revival style Arkwright building, you’ll study in a studio culture that reflects modern practice, and an environment that challenges you to work collaboratively, share experiences and experiment with ideas. You’ll get the opportunity to work on live design projects, with creative briefs from real clients, and engage with guest lectures from industry experts. **Key features** **Live projects** | Take part in industry-set design projects, with creative briefs from real clients. Students have with Benoy on a brief exploring possibilities for new retail space, and theatre company Nonsuch, on a project to re-imagine their studio space. **Guest Lectures |** Hear visiting industry experts deliver talks about their work; previous visitors have included Stanton Williams, Hawkins\Brown, Checkland Kindleysides, Grid Architects and the National Trust. **Exhibitions and shows |** Exhibit your work at our final year Degree Show, our annual Architecture Exchange event and external graduate shows, all attended by industry experts and prospective employers. **Outstanding employability I** 91% of our Interior Architecture and Design Sandwich graduates who entered employment are in a 'High Skilled' role 15 months after finishing their degrees (latest Graduate Outcomes Survey 2017-18).

The events are an opportunity for all final year students studying across NTU's Art and Design-based courses to showcase their work to our network of industry professionals and prospective employers, invited specifically for this purpose.

Tuition fees for 2022 entry are yet to be confirmed. As a guide and to enable you to plan your finances, the fees for Home undergraduate students for 2021 are £9250.
