BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production is a Creative Skillset accredited course focusing on developing original ideas and practice across all aspects of filmmaking and production. You will be filming on location, working in production teams, to develop innovative concepts. Our industry standard media labs provide facilities to practice technical and craft skills in editing and post production and its professional film studio provides opportunities to further your practice and specialist skills in direction, sound design and scriptwriting. This course includes a Year Zero, which promotes developing practical, technical and creative skills and confidence for the following three years. Building on your prior experience, you will be introduced to some of our workshops to assist your skill development, with an increasing emphasis on professional standards and independent study. The course places emphasis on your personal commitment to study, while supporting you in your progression.
