The Business and Management Foundation Year aims to provide you with an introduction to both the theoretical and practical dimensions of business and management. The programme blends theory and practice to develop your understanding of management practice and is aligned to the principles of responsible management and sustainability goals. A Foundation Year offers a transition into university life, bridging the gap between earlier forms of education and undergraduate degrees in Business. This programme will provide you with a challenging insight in to the subject specific elements including Professional Development, Ethics and Social Responsibility, Business Environment and Functions and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. You will develop research rich skills, with modules enabling and encouraging you to take responsibility for your own learning. The curriculum aims to enhance your employability and career readiness as the modules blend skills and knowledge in a practical environment. Course Details – Assessment Method

Your tutors will use a variety of teaching methods, which may include lectures, seminars, problem-based workshops, case discussions, practical activities, group work and tutorials. Teaching is backed up by a well-designed support system that will underpin your learning journey. You will have access to a Guidance Tutor with whom you can discuss any academic issues.
