The programme aims to produce graduates who are fit for practice within the NHS or private sectors within the UK and overseas. Students benefit from clinical placement and education at **our Podiatry Clinic**, adjacent to Northampton General Hospital, which is equipped with the latest technology.
The course aims to develop your skills through clinical activity and rigorous academic content, this combination will help to transform you into the highest quality practitioner. Students undertake a number of placements in a range of clinics and settings and are trained to undertake selected procedures under local anaesthesia. Final-stage students have the opportunity to attend to injuries at the London Marathon.
On successful completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for registration with **the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)**. The course is **accredited by the College of Podiatry**.

* Students must take all modules. Students must have successfully completed 120 Stage 2 credits before progressing to Stage 3. Students who do not complete the Honours Degree will be eligible for an Ordinary Degree upon successful completion of a minimum of 60 Level 6 credits. These can be from any Level 6 modules, whether identified as compulsory or designated. The name of the Ordinary Degree will differ from that of the Honours Degree due to professional body requirements. Details can be found in the relevant Supplementary Regulations.
