If you have previous experience of working with children under the age of eight and already hold a Foundation Degree or HND our top-up course in Early Childhood Studies is ideal for you. This course will give you a broad academic foundation in a range of professions related to working with children from birth to the age of eight. This is a particularly useful course if you are already working in this field. You will be given opportunities to undertake placements in education, health and social care settings which will give context to your academic studies and provide you with professional development. Our tutors are experienced professionals from a variety of fields within Early Childhood, who, along with your practical placements, give you real-world knowledge and expertise.
