Our HND Business covers all the essential bases to give you a start in a career in Marketing, Finance, HR, Law or Management. This HND (Higher National Diploma) in Business is great for those who are looking to gain a higher qualification in business studies. This course is two years long, covering the HNC units in year one and additional units in year two to top the qualification up to a HND.
This course combines online learning and face-to-face tutor support. All units are learnt online, with the time spent on campus for targeted development sessions, to turn in assignments and allocate assignments. Students can study all critical course content via an online portal. The course can be studied alongside employment or any other commitments, however, learners will be expected to be motivated and have self-discipline.
The on-campus study hours are fortnightly, totaling 12 on-campus tutor contact hours per month. Learners will complete Approximately 6 hours per week of Self-study time.
On completion, you can progress on to a degree top-up programme to gain a qualification. Many learners find that the HND gives them the skills needed to go into employment, if not already in employment.

You will be assessed through a variety of methods including written reports and essays, in-class tests, examinations, creation of financial documents, creation of planning documents, work-based projects, academic posters, displays, leaflets, presentations, recording of interviews, role plays, working logbooks, reflective journals, time-constrained assessment.
