The course emphasises the production process and related current research. Media production is influenced by many cultural, economic and political factors; you will study these factors, together with the history of the media, so you can make really effective, powerful media products that connect with their target audiences. Students will be able to gain a BA (Hons) Degree in Media Production. They will develop a portfolio of self-devised production work which they will be able to use to gain employment within the creative industries. Students work very closely with staff when developing ideas and projects. This course provides an ideal platform for past graduate study or careers in media production. Completion of Media Production FdA or Media Production HND is required to study this course.
