This course will enable students to convert their foundation degree or HND to a full BA (Hons) degree so they can progress their career within the field of early childhood education and care.
The course aims to provide a broad and balanced knowledge and understanding of the main features of early childhood education and care and you will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of disciplines as the programme draws on aspects of social policy, leadership and management and inclusion. Studying the course part-time will provide you with the flexibility to combine paid employment with study.
As an **Early Childhood Education and Care** graduate you will have the opportunity to become part of an interdisciplinary workforce which encompasses early childhood in all its diverse aspects. Many pursue a broad range of careers, working in children’s centres, schools, nurseries, social services, local authority support teams, and charitable organisations.
