Standard Qualification Requirements

The most directly relevant entry qualification is the Foundation Degree in Outdoor Adventure Education and Leadership (OAEL). However, a range of other Level 5 qualifications or Foundation Degrees in a related discipline would be considered where it can be demonstrated that the learning outcomes can be mapped to the Fd OAEL. Where applicants apply with qualifications that are not directly relevant the Programme Team looks for evidence of experience. Applications from students with non-standard entry qualifications are welcome. Admission tutors also take into account any alternative qualifications or other experience applicants may offer. Non-standard qualifications in a related discipline may be considered together with the need to demonstrate the academic rigour required to study at L5/6. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate industry experience and enthusiasm at interview.
