This course will be of interest to you if you are seeking to develop or advance your career in games design. The purpose of this course is to help you explore games design and related developments in this growing industry. This programme is completed through facilitated, hands-on sessions alongside lectures and real-world practices using specialised industry-standard software and by completing a series of game productions.
Specifically, you will study 2D and 3D computer games art, game narrative, 2D and 3D animation, assets, research, 3D environments, game production and interface design. Throughout the programme you will also be encouraged to develop your employability skills.
Successful completion of this programme provides entry to the BSc (Hons) Games Design (Top-up) to gain a full honours degree award.
