You will develop a broad understanding of business activity and focus on the influence of human resource management in contemporary organisations. You will also investigate and work with local employers to expand and apply your knowledge in a practical setting. Your knowledge and understanding provides a platform for you to develop your future career and academic plans, and you gain the opportunity to showcase your skills to potential employers. Successful students may choose to progress to the BA (Hons) Business, a one year top-up programme also delivered at the College, to gain a full honours degree award. You will gain employability, professional skills and knowledge through individual projects, online activities and visits. On successful completion of the award, you are well positioned to apply for general business management positions, as well as more specialised roles requiring a knowledge of finance or economics.

What are the entry requirements? You will need to have achieved 48 UCAS tariff points from an appropriate Level 3 qualification (NVQ 3, BTEC Award or A Level) as well as possessing GCSE or equivalent grade 9-4 (A-C) in English and in maths.
