How do we think and interact with the world? Why do we react in the ways we do? Explore the ways our minds work. Our course covers all core elements of psychological study, from lifespan development, neuropsychology, and research methods to social and critical and abnormal psychology. Our psychology courses are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Psychologists learn more about human behaviour using scientific methods such as experiments and statistical analysis. On the course, you might be conducting experiments, developing an independent research proposal or learning about qualitative methodologies. We support our students to develop their natural curiosity, creating psychology graduates who are equipped to explore the human experience in an ethical, empathetic and scientific manner. Some of the topics you’ll study include the influence of biology and genetics on behaviour, perception and memory, mental health and cultural differences, and the ethical issues around working with children.
