We’re fascinated by our world: how and why our natural and built environments vary, and how they coexist with our social world. Study with us and you can explore it all, developing the skills to probe the world around us, investigate human impact in relation to climate change and understand how global urbanisation affects the human experience.
The foundation year provides a route onto a geography degree if you don't have the qualifications or have not studied advanced level subjects sufficiently related to your course of choice.
After successful completion of the Foundation Year in Geography, you can progress on to one of the relevant BSc (Hons) degrees:
- BSc (Hons) Geography
- BSc (Hons) Human Geography
- BSc (Hons) Physical Geography
Whichever route you take, you’ll have the skills and understanding you need to undertake further study or get started in your career.
