Course Summary

**Why study this course?** Our four-year Business Management and Marketing (including foundation year) BA (Hons) degree has a built-in foundation year (Year 0) that provides you with an alternative route into higher education if you don't have traditional qualifications, or can't meet the entry requirements for an undergraduate degree in business. The foundation year will give you a confidence boost in an academic environment, helping you feel more prepared to move on to our three-year Business Management and Marketing course. This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). In the 2020 National Student Survey, 100% of our Business Management and Marketing students said our resources and facilities positively supported their learning. **More about this course** Our Business Management and Marketing (including foundation year) BA (Hons) degree will prepare you for an exciting career in business, as a professional marketer or as a business owner. If you want to start your own business, we even have our own business incubator, Accelerator, which provides entrepreneurs with support, networks and resources to help make your dream a reality. Your foundation year will be shared with other students on business-related foundation year courses. Sharing ideas and insights with other students in related subjects will help you broaden your horizons. If you decide you’d like to change your degree to a different area of business, you have the flexibility to do this. Once you’ve passed your foundation year, your next three years of study will be the same as our Business Management and Marketing degree. You'll graduate with the same title and award as those who studied the traditional three-year course. The foundation year is designed to give you a broad introduction to various business topics and build on your academic skills. Read more about the modules and content on our Business Management and Marketing BA (Hons) course page.
