This course will be studied at Everton Football College. The Foundation Degree provides a perfect platform to enhance coaching experience and develop knowledge of current sport development initiatives through a mix of academic study and practical learning experiences in partnership with Everton Football Club. Course Details – Assessment Method

Teaching methods You’ll benefit from a carefully developed mix of theory and practical teaching methods. There will be lectures, seminars, workshops and case studies to help you develop your theoretical learning, plus work experience to boost your practical skills and employability.. As an Everton student, you will also have access to Premier League facilities at Finch Farm and Goodison, plus guest speakers to help bring learning to life. Study hours: Full-time, 2 days a week. Typically, each module has 40 hours ‘directed’ or timetabled time, plus 160 hours of independent study for example, time you need to spend reading, researching, doing project work or completing assessments etc. Assessment methods To ensure you develop both practically as a coach and practitioner, you will be typically assessed through a range of methods including: • practical and work experience • portfolio evidence • presentations • reports • exam and essay work.
