Course Details - Modules
In Year 1 you will be introduced to the exciting world of Geography, developing your foundational geographical knowledge and skills.You will get a taste of a variety of geographies, and there are plenty of opportunities to do fieldwork.Topics of study may include examining contemporary geographical issues and learning about the variety of physical landscapes.
In Year 2 you will continue to explore physical geography, with a greater emphasis placed on research methods. You will learn a wide range of useful methods and techniques, both in the classroom and through fieldwork. There are also many optional modules to choose from.
Finally, Year 3 will see you further specialise in physical geography. You will develop your skills as an independent scholar by undertaking dissertation research. There are further optional modules to choose from.
