The programme aims to develop innovative sports coaches and teachers that are capable of operating expertly in a wide range of coaching and teaching environments, utilising critical reflection skills to ensure continuous development within their practice. The BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching, Development and Pedagogy course provides the opportunity for students that have completed a Foundation Degree/HND, preferably in Sports Coaching, to progress onto the final year of a BSc (Hons) Sports Coaching, Development and Pedagogy degree. This course is aimed at students wishing to develop their vocational skills and specialist knowledge within the field of Sports Coaching. Graduates from this course will be well equipped to start careers within Sports Coaching, Sports Development and Teaching.

Sports kit - £130 (compulsory) ; DBS check - £47.80 (compulsory); Additional coaching courses (optional )- varying costs Additional compulsory course costs will be paid for using the Career Degree Bursary. The Career Degree Bursary allows students to access the remainder of the Career Degree Bursary (up to a maximum value of £500 / £250) for additional optional courses, workshops, professional memberships and resources.
