This course is aimed at students who currently obtain a HND/Foundation Degree and are looking to gain a full degree. The BA (Hons) course emphasizes the creative use of Lens Based Media across a wide range of subject areas. The course encourages the exploration of contemporary practice and includes critical and contextual modules. Traditional techniques and practices are investigated alongside digital practice and output. This is a visual communication course structured to provide a route into employment in Creative Media, Photography and associated industries. Individual project briefs enable learners to achieve their full potential using technical and critical skills relevant to their specific pathways. The BA prepares learners for a career in the design industry, through the development of design skills, technical and professional expertise.

Tuition fees will remain unchanged for the duration of a student’s continuous enrolment. Studio and materials fees - £50.00 (optional); Trips/visits including Film Festival and BFI Conference to London + rail fare (optional) - £100.00; Visit to London - exhibitions, rail fare (optional) - £50.00; Visit to NEC Birmingham - trade show / conference (optional) - £30.00 Additional compulsory course costs will be paid for using the Career Degree Bursary.
