Course Details - Modules
Year One will give you a broad understanding of today’s business environment, from organisational operation, to trends in economic thinking, to the importance of data in business. You’ll cover topics such as Organisations and the Business Environment; Economics and Globalisation; and Managing Data.
In Year Two you’ll take your skills forward and focus on the inner workings of businesses, developing the skills that employers look. During this year you’ll also have the chance to plan a simulated business by yourself or with fellow students in the pathway module. You will also learn to form opinions on how businesses manage challenges, you’ll work on projects and use business techniques to solve problems.
Finally, Year Three will see you undertake an in-depth business research project in International Business, and explore the knowledge and obtain the skills in cross-cultural management by taking the pathway module. Again, you’ll choose other topics that excite you, from Managing Sustainability to Organisational Strategy.
