Course Summary

This Higher National Certificate course is a fantastic opportunity to develop a range of essential Travel and Tourism management skills to further career opportunities in your chosen sector. Each unit within this course caters to the increasing need for high quality professional and technical education at level 4 (equal to Yr1 of a Hons Degree), providing students with a clear pathway to employment or progressing onto further higher education. The blended structure of this course means you attend one full day at college whilst continuing a significant proportion of studies at home and independent study using online materials. In addition, it is expected that you will gain vocational experience through related part-time work as well as engage in independent research into the topics under investigation. On successful completion of the Higher National Certificate, you may progress on to a Higher National Diploma (equivalent to the second year of a degree). Following successful completion of the HND you may apply to University of your choice to complete a one year Honours Degree top up. This will require you meeting the entry requirements for 'top up' set by the accepting University.
