This programme is a popular and innovative social sciences degree, focusing on developing an understanding of crime and it’s control. The course is a single honours programme but is interdisciplinary in nature. You will analyse all forms of crime and consider how widespread they are and the impact they have on society. You will also look at the work of criminal justice agencies as well as private sector and voluntary organisations and how they regulate behaviour in an attempt to prevent crime.
