Study multiple aspects of Film and Screen Media with this exciting foundation degree. This practitioner-focused programme covers three contemporary strands of the film and screen industries. Through traditional film making, motion design and emerging technologies, this course offers new exciting approaches to production and career pathways. The production, content and distribution of film is developing alongside advancing technologies in an increasingly networked culture. This practitioner-focused course will develop your skills preparing you for a variety of roles in this ever-evolving and exciting creative industry. This programme will cover three strands including filmmaking, motion design and screen practices. You will be challenged to think about the screen in new and exciting ways that give meaning to an audience while studying techniques including traditional film methods, motion graphics, editing, post-production techniques, 360 degree camera workflow and creating. Additionally, you will acquire employability skills to support you as you pursue your career goals and explore your unique style of visual language creation. You will investigate issues affecting media, respond to issues through your work and create a high-quality portfolio.
