If you don't have the required UCAS points to secure a place on the full degree programme, this integrated foundation year will enable you to transition onto our BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Nutrition course, preparing you for academic life at university. As part of your foundation year, you’ll: -* Study four sport-related modules* - These will introduce you to the subjects included on each of our 10 routes, from sport development and sport and exercise science to coaching and lifelong health - **Study two additional modules** that will help you develop the academic and study skills needed to successfully transition from school or the workplace to higher education As part of your course, you'll: - Study the science of food, developing your understanding of how nutritional composition and diet can influence sport and exercise performance - Work across the spectrum; from elite athletes to recreational performers - Learn how to conduct interviews, assess the dietary intake of individuals and design personalised nutritional interventionse.
