As part of your foundation year, you’ll: - Study four sport-related modules -These will introduce you to the subjects included on each of our 10 routes, from sport development and sport and exercise science to coaching and lifelong health - Study two additional modules that will help you develop the academic and study skills needed to successfully transition from school or the workplace to higher education As part of your course, you’ll: - Study all aspects of physical education, including best practice in teaching and learning, the scientific principles which underpin PE and the benefits of lifelong physical activity - Gain hands-on experience in a variety of settings including teaching PE in schools or leading community groups - Choose from a range of option modules to develop expertise in specialist areas to maximise your opportunities and enhance your employability prospectsse.
