Providing a pathway of practical activities across three years, this physical education course will offer a multidisciplinary experience to fit your individual career goals and learning needs. As part of your course, you'll: - Study all aspects of physical education, including best practice in teaching and learning, the scientific principles which underpin PE and the benefits of lifelong physical activity - Gain hands-on experience in a variety of settings including teaching PE in schools or leading community groups - Choose from a range of option modules to develop expertise in specialist areas to maximise your opportunities and enhance your employability prospects

Year 1 Core Modules: - PE & Sport Pedagogy 1a - PE & Sport Pedagogy 1b - Scientific Foundations of Human Movement for PE - The Making of Modern PE - Sociology of PE - Psychology of Motor Learning - Personal, Professional & Academic Development Year 2 Core Modules: - PE & Sport Pedagogy 2 - Employability in PE - Research Methods for PE Plus at least one from the following year 2 modules: - Applied Social Science of PE - Social Psychology - Applied Human Movement for PE2 In addition, choose from a list of Year 2 option modules.
