Standard Qualification Requirements

UCAS points from ideally 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications

Equivalent of 96 UCAS points with a minimum of a grade C in Biology or Human Biology and one other Science.

A Levels to include Biology/Applied Biology at grade C or above; two science A-levels are desirable which include Maths, Physics, Psychology, Geography, Sociology, Statistics (others) However those doing A level Biology and A levels in non-science subjects will be considered. We also count Bioscience Extended Project towards your total UCAS points. General Studies not accepted

Can be considered in combination with other Level 3 qualifications e.g. A2's in different subjects.

Equivalent of 96 UCAS points. Access Courses in Biology, Agriculture, Health and Health Sciences, Science, Medicine and Medical and Biosciences all accepted.

Applied Science and Applied Biology accepted. Applicants should also hold A Level Biology with a minimum of a grade C.

To include Biology at Higher Level grade 5 and another Science at Higher Level grade 5 with Standard Level grade 5 required in English Language and Maths.

Applied Biology, Applied Science, Biology, Medical Science, Life Science, Biomedical Science, Environmental Science accepted.

Equivalent of 96 UCAS points with minimum of H4 in Biology or Human Biology

T Levels T Levels are an alternative to A levels, apprenticeships and other further education courses. T Level focuses on vocational skills and can help students into skilled employment, higher education and/or apprenticeships. Students who study T Level spend 80% of the course in the classroom, learning the skills that employers need. The other 20% is a meaningful industry placement, where they put these skills into action. T Levels are the equivalent to three A levels and we recognise the UCAS tariff points they attract in line with other qualifications that aid progression to higher education.
