Our Pharmacy MPharm is a fully-accredited four-year pharmacy degree, based in the heart of London, that combines the study of pharmaceutical science with the practise of pharmacy. As experts in medicine, pharmacists are taking on increasingly important roles in modern healthcare teams, as well as enjoying exciting career options in diverse health-related sectors, from the hospital service and community practice to the pharmaceutical industry. Our programme will allow you to join this profession, as the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) is the only UK qualification that leads to professional registration as a pharmacist.

Standard Qualification Requirements

Please note that Global Perspectives is not accepted by King’s as one of your Pre-U Principal subjects. Combinations of Pre-U principal subjects and other qualifications (such as A-levels) will be considered. Must include Chemistry and at least one subject from Biology, Mathematics or Physics.

Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels. Must include Chemistry and at least one subject from Biology, Mathematics or Physics. Also required: GCSE grade 6/B in English language and Mathematics.

Must be combined with two Scottish Advanced Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject.

Access to Science (or similar subject) with 60 credits overall and 45 Level 3 credits: 33 must be from units awarded at Distinction (including 15 credits in Chemistry and a further 18 credits in one or more of Biology, Mathematics and Physics), with the remaining 12 Level 3 credits at Merit. GCSE grade 6/B in both English and Mathematics also required. Please contact the King's Admissions Office to check which institutions' Access to HE Diploma will be considered.

If you are applying for deferred entry, to commence the following September, fees may be subject to change. All International applicants to Undergraduate programmes are required to pay a deposit of £2,000 against their first year’s tuition fee.
