Our Chemistry with Biomedicine MSci course will give you a strong theoretical and experimental understanding of chemistry. You’ll explore the different strands of chemistry and apply them to biological and biomedical systems - all under the guidance of our research-led scientists. In your final year of the MSci, you’ll explore your interests with a 6-month research project in our state-of-the-art labs or with our hospital partners. The course is designed to train you to be an articulate, flexible and biomedically aware chemist, with a broad range of skills for a wide variety of careers starting with chemical, biotech and pharmaceutical industries and extending to wide careers such as finance, law and media. Standard Qualification Requirements

Including Chemistry at grade A, and grade A in at least one of Biology, Mathematics or Physics. Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels. NOTE: If you are taking linear A levels in England, you will be required to pass the practical endorsement in all science subjects.

Must be combined with two Scottish Advanced Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject

Access to Science (or similar subject), must include at least 15 Level 3 credits in Chemistry awarded at Distinction, and at least 15 Level 3 credits in one from Biology, Mathematics and Physics awarded at Distinction.

Must be combined with three Scottish Highers and include grade A in Advanced Higher Chemistry and grade B at Advanced Higher in at least one of Mathematics, Physics or Biology. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject.
