Our Chemistry MSci degree will give you a theoretical and experimental understanding of chemistry in the modern world. Our teaching is research-enriched, transcending the traditional divisions of physical, organic and inorganic chemistry and integrating practical methods throughout. In your final year of the MSci, you’ll explore your interests with a 6-month research project in our state-of-the-art labs. The course is designed to train the next generation of articulate, flexible chemists for a wide variety of careers in chemical, biotech and pharmaceutical industries and extending to wide careers such as finance, law and media. Standard Qualification Requirements

Including Chemistry at grade A, and grade A in at least one of Biology, Mathematics or Physics. Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels. NOTE: If you are taking linear A levels in England, you will be required to pass the practical endorsement in all science subjects.

Must be combined with two Scottish Advanced Highers. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject

Access to Science (or similar subject), must include at least 15 Level 3 credits in Chemistry awarded at Distinction, and at least 15 Level 3 credits in one from Biology, Mathematics and Physics awarded at Distinction.

Must be combined with three Scottish Highers and include grade A in Advanced Higher Chemistry and grade B at Advanced Higher in at least one of Mathematics, Physics or Biology. We do not count the Higher and Advanced Higher in the same subject.
