This degree programme introduces you to a range of introductory modules such as Mechanics and relativity and thermodynamics as well as computing skills and mathematics, before progressing to more specialist topics including quantum and atomic physics and a new laboratory module based on data analysis. You’ll also study specialist modules such as spacecraft design, observational astronomy and The Physics of Stars, Galaxies and Cosmology. In your final year including optics, medical physics and nuclear physics.
