On this degree course you study the detail of the law, as well as its history. You get to put theory into practice, working on real cases in the Kent Law Clinic and honing your advocacy skills in the replica courtroom. You study criminal law, public law, equity and trusts, the English legal system and EU law. A wide range of optional modules also allows you to specialise in areas such as asylum and refugee law, medical ethics, mental health law, and race, sexuality and gender justice. As well as studying law modules, you develop your written and spoken Italian to an advanced level. You graduate with the ability to evidence and express your opinions in Italian, opening up opportunities to practise law abroad.
