Accountants validate company accounts, devise and operate financial systems, conduct investment analysis, handle their clients’ tax affairs, advise strategy and drive business success. You spend a year working in industry gaining valuable experience and greatly enhancing your CV. This takes place between your second and final years. You can choose to take a self-employed placement year to develop an initial business idea into a feasible business plan.
