Our integrated master’s degree will advance your knowledge of chemistry through both our teaching and your own research. This four year course builds professional skills and is perfect if you would like to gain direct chemistry research experience for use in a career as a research chemist in either industry or academia. On this integrated master's programme, you will have the opportunity to focus on topics which suit your interests and aspirations, as well as develop your chemical knowledge and laboratory skills. You will develop a range of transferable skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication skills and the ability to conduct research. The variety of coursework items embedded within the course allows for the development of chemistry-specific and transferable skills, giving our graduates excellent prospects. This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
