Just like in the real world, you’ll be responsible for finding and applying for opportunities, with the added benefit of help and support from university services such as the Careers and Employability service based in Student Central. The industrial placement in year 4 is fully assessed and counts towards your final degree result; it therefore requires the successful completion of academic assignments, a continuous log and final report.
