Animation is a lively and exhilarating medium that expresses story and character through light, line and movement. Whether putting together a compelling narrative, creating environments, storyboards and illustrations, or experimenting with new technologies and abstract forms of movement, the process of animation is rich and complex.
Animation is a lively and exhilarating medium – it can make us laugh, cry, think and feel in its exploration of inner and outer worlds. It can express events, story and character through light, line and movement. It entertains audiences, whilst raising thought-provoking questions concerning truth, illusion, love, life and death. On the Animation Production BA(Hons) course we’ll help you define your preferred area of interest early on in your studies, and you'll continue to develop your skills throughout.

* We’ll support you to develop your own visual language whilst learning to be aesthetically and conceptually playful.
* Gain technical skills to help your ideas take shape though illustration, 3D, film, stop-motion, and kinetic technologies.
