This degree builds on the industry-recognised HNC. All first year entrants will start on the HNC which is available at Inverness College UHI, Perth College UHI, and Moray College UHI. Successful completion will allow progress onto the second year of the degree (DipHE) and entry at this level is available at the following campuses: Inverness College UHI, Lews Castle College UHI, Moray College UHI, North Highland College UHI, Orkney College UHI, Perth College UHI and West Highland College UHI. The BA (Hons) Sports Management degree is designed for those seeking a broad-based management qualification that will introduce you to all aspects of today's modern sporting business. This course will equip you with the skills you will need for a career in sports management, including marketing, human resources, business law and IT.

This is a Top-Up Degree whereby Year 1 of the course comprises an HNC and in some cases Year 2 an HND. Courses which comprise an HN award as their first and/or second year will be charged the Higher National fee for the first and/or second year, increasing to the degree fee rate after this. Please see the course page for specific fees details. RUK students will be charged the RUK HN fee for the Higher National portion of the programme and the degree portion will be charge at the RUK degree fee, the fourth year of consecutive study on the programme is free. EU/EEA and Swiss nationals starting their study in Scotland from academic year 2021-22, who do not have settled status, will be considered as international for fee purposes. For 2021-22, the university offered an automatic scholarship for the degree (3rd) year and the 4th year of study free for those studying full-time, on continuous study.
