Our BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science degree fulfils the requirements to be eligible to apply for registration as a paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). It is the first nationally to integrate full paramedic training to the Health and Care Professions Council registration standards within a full-time degree programme. The BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science degree course will give you the professional knowledge and clinical assessment skills you need to become a confident, autonomous paramedic working within the emergency environment. Standard Qualification Requirements

B in a natural science subject (Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, Applied Science or Physics)

Must be science or health professions based (not Health and Social Care). 45 credits at Level 3. Minimum of 18 distinctions, remaining 27 at Merit.

112 points from a minimum of 1 HL subject at grade 5 or above and 1 HL subject at grade 4 or above, one of which must be a natural science.

BTEC National Extended Diploma - must achive DMM in Applied Science. Other science BTECs will be considered (e.g. sports & exercise science). (This does not include health and social care.)
