The Pearson BTEC Higher National Certificate in Computing-Security, is designed to train tomorrow’s security professionals, combining fundamental concepts and principles with exposure to current technologies and solutions. You will gain a practical understanding of key issues relating to the design, analysis and implementation of modern IT security systems. Also, you’ll develop understanding of how network security systems function and how they might be abused and how security fits into business and commerce through applied learning. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and practical skills that underpin the study, Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals Certificate in Computing-Security, gives students the experience of the breadth and depth of the sector, which will prepare them for further study, training or to pursue a wide array of career pathways within the public, private and charity sectors.
