This course is run in collaboration with Canterbury Christ Church University. All speech and language therapy students on courses from September 2020 may benefit from guaranteed, additional support of at least £5,000 a year, which they will not need to pay back. See more information. **What you should know about this course:** * Students studying this course can expect to earn up to £30,000 on graduation (HESA, 2020). * This course is fully approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), allowing graduates to register with the HCPC as a speech and language therapist. * The curriculum observes the statutory and regulatory requirements of our professional bodies whilst reflecting both national and local requirements through regular contact with local speech and language therapists in practice. * Study subjects from a range of disciplines, such as psychology, child development, linguistics and phonetics, anatomy and physiology in addition to speech and language therapy frameworks. * Three placements across three years help you gain practice-based skills alongside experienced speech and language therapists.
