**This mathematics and computing degree gives you a solid understanding of mathematical methods with core computing skills and the ability to apply them to real-life problems.** Our mathematics courses are highly regarded, and in the 2019 Guardian University Guide, were ranked in the top 10 in the UK. Our degree in mathematics and computing is designed to develop your skills in advanced programming and software engineering as well as in mathematics and computing software tools. You will also explore logical analysis, deduction and mathematical modelling and gain the skills to apply these to computer systems.
