**Start your career in biomedical science with this two-year foundation degree, which covers a range of subjects from microbiology to genetics.** This biomedical science foundation degree prepares you for degree-level learning and a future career in research or laboratory science, with the chance to discover new drugs, cures or treatments. You'll be able to transfer to the BSc Hons degree if you complete the course successfully. The course will provide you with the relevant skills for working in laboratories. Modules cover topics as diverse as fundamental biology and physiology, medical science, metabolism and disease, microbiology and genetics.
