Course Summary

If you are looking for a career with opportunities to influence innumerable aspects of an organisation and to play a part in influencing strategic business decisions, then this programme is for you. ‘People are our most valuable asset’ is an often quoted tenet among business leaders. Within the BA HRM programme you will learn both general business theory and specific HR theory. In addition, you will be learning and practicing some of the core HR/Business skills that are transferrable across the wider business sector. We aim to create a sound foundation on which to build your career in Business, with specialist knowledge and skills in HR to make the most of that ‘valuable asset’. In the North Wales Business School, all students benefit from the university’s links to businesses, with over 1,500 industrial global partners including giants of the finance world - KPMG, Grant Thornton, Santander and DTCC. These connections provide our students with work placement opportunities as well as networking and development sessions. In addition, graduates from this programme may progress to our CIPD accredited Master Programme in HRM. As our degrees are accredited by the CMI, all our graduating students will also receive a level 5 Diploma/Certificate in Leadership & Management from the CMI worth over £1,300 at no additional expense.
