YEAR 1 (FOUNDATION YEAR) Students will be introduced to the basic concepts in finance, which will equip you for further studies. You will gain knowledge of the rules of numeracy in the business context and use methods to solve business problems. Through an introduction to business you will investigate the business functions of HR, Marketing and Accounting and Finance with an opportunity to explore the different elements of a business, including structures, and different types of ownership.
