**Why Quantity Surveying?**
Our Quantity Surveying degree will give you a wide understanding of the construction industries, as well as the specific business skills to manage contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. Key themes in the application of digital construction, sustainability, international challenges and globalisation are embedded throughout the course, as you learn to become an innovative, adaptable and responsible professional who can add value to a client’s proposal. Optional modules will enable you to tailor your degree to match your particular interests and ambitions, for example studying heritage building projects or exploring the role and skills of an employer’s agent.
Unlike on traditional quantity surveying courses, you’ll learn in multi-disciplinary studios collaborating on projects with students preparing to become architects, urban planners, construction project managers and landscape architects, replicating how you’ll work in your future career. Drawing on the expertise of our academic team, your studies will be informed by the very latest research and professional practice to ensure you’re up to speed on cutting-edge ideas, technologies and developments within the industry.
