Become a manager and leader equipped with the skills and commercial insight to make a real difference in the ever-changing world of business. Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), this course gives you the opportunity to develop essential skills, knowledge and experience whilst completing a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management as part of your studies.
If you have ambitions for starting and running your own business then this course is for you. In your first year you’ll gain solid grounding in all aspects of business and management. In your second year, you will develop skills necessary for the creation and sustainability of a new business venture, as well as gain insights from entrepreneurs. In your final year, you’ll continue your journey as a budding entrepreneur, considering social entrepreneurship, community enterprises, new value creation in business start-ups, new ventures, incubation, and commercialisation.
You’ll draw on the expertise of lecturers with extensive professional credentials and research experience, as well as learn from inspiring industry guest speakers. You will also take advantage of the cutting-edge facilities at our brand-new, state-of-the-art, Gloucestershire Business School.
There will also be the option to choose a year-long placement in industry. Examples of a few of the renowned companies our students have worked for include Warner Media, IBM, Panasonic, GE Capital, GE Aviation, John Lewis and Partners and British Airways.
